Our sheep are “hair sheep”, which means they are not sheared, but rather shed their hair each year. Our flock is heavily influenced by the Katahdin, St. Croix and Dorper breeds and are raised in an extremely humane manner utilizing regenerative agricultural practices and daily paddock moves. They never receive hormones, antibiotics or grain and are on fresh grass daily.

We sell various lamb products in the Farm Store and occasionally have a Freezer Lamb (whole lamb processed to your specifications) available for sale.

Want to reserve a whole lamb?

How - Go to the Farm Store and select Whole Freezer Lamb. Choose the date your lamb will be available and add to your Cart. Choose your delivery option and pay the non-refundable deposit ($100) to hold your freezer lamb. Your final bill will be reduced by the deposit.

Price - Your final bill will be $12.00 per pound of delivered meat. You don’t have to worry about live weight, hanging weight, processing costs, shrink and all the things that make ordering a whole animal so confusing. You only pay for the meat you actually receive.

How much meat can you expect to receive - Our lambs will generally provide 35lbs - 45lbs of meat, which means your final price will be between $420 and $540; however, the final amount will ultimately depend on the size of the lamb and could be more or less.

What will I receive - You will be able to customize how you would like your lamb processed based on a Cut-Sheet (see the button below for a copy). I will contact you a month prior to the processing date to talk through your cut sheet and answer any questions you have. Here is an example of what you can expect to receive:

  • Ground Lamb - 20lbs

  • Rack of Lamb (x2) - 1.5lbs each

  • Loin Chops - 4lbs

  • Sirloin Chops - 3lbs

  • Shoulder Roast (x2) - 2.5lbs each

  • Leg of Lamb (x2) - 4lbs each

How will I receive the meat - Your lamb will be frozen and vacuum sealed aside from the ground lamb, which will be packaged in 1lb chubs. I will coordinate with you for delivery or pick-up of your meat. You won’t have to interact with the processor.
